Over $138,000 Raised From League Supporters!

In the last decade, the USA Clay Target League has grown from 30 students athletes on three teams in Minnesota to more than 32,000 registered athletes across over 1,000 teams nationwide last in 2019.

Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-19, the League faced unprecedented challenges. This spring saw 80% of schools and more than 28,000 athlets unable to participate due to concerns surrounding the pandemic. In order to help meet them, the League launched the Double Shot Donation campaign via GoFundMe.

To help the League, former All-American trap shooter and longtime USA Clay Target League board member Mark Zauhar generously committed to match every donation through October 1st, up to $100,000.

The GoFundMe campaign completed on October 1st, and we are please to announce that the League was able to raise over $138,000 due to the generous donations of Mark and all the League’s generous supporters!

The League thanks everyone that contributed to our Double Shot Donation campaign. These donations will go far in ensuring the League can continue its efforts to provide a safe and fun high school and college sport to tens of thousands of students across the country.
